French media: Chelsea Football Club has offered Monaco defender Badia Shearer 40 million euros

According to Footmercato, Chelsea have offered about 40 million euros for Monaco 21-year-old defender Badia Shearer, while Manchester United are also involved in the competition for the young defender.
Last September, French coach Deschamps allowed Badia Shearer to be selected for the national team for the first time. Moreover, Badia Shearer made his first two appearances in the European League against Austria and Denmark. Despite not being included in France’s World Cup squad, Didier Deschamps and his coaching team will continue to keep an eye on the promising defender.
This summer, Sevilla offered between 25 million euros and 30 million euros for Badia Shiller. Newcastle, Chelsea and Manchester United also wanted the defender, but he stayed in Monaco. In the new season, Badia Shearer played 16 games for Monaco, of which 14 started. In the process, he scored two goals.
For Monaco, this winter window is the best time to sell Badia Shearer as the young defender’s contract with the club expires in 2024. By next summer, his price is bound to go down.
