The pride of the whole village! The people of Rosario sang a tribute to Messi, shouting “Thank you, Leo.”

December 21-2022 World Cup, Messi led the team to win the Hercules Cup. Messi returned to his hometown of Rosario after a championship parade in the Argentine capital Buenos Aires.
Local journalist Tom á s Dvoretzky of Rosario posted a video showing Messi being warmly welcomed by the people when he returned home. They sang loudly in tribute to Messi, and the people shouted “Thank you, Leo.”
The reporter who posted the video wrote: “this is how Messi’s car entered the house.”
