Adams: Saka should be the best player in PFA this season, Jesus is the decider of the championship

January 14, former Arsenal star Tony Adams was interviewed by The Sun
Said that he supported Arsenal teenager Saka to be elected as the best player in the Premier League PFA this season.
Arsenal currently lead Manchester City by 5 points in the standings, and Saka is the key player for them to occupy the leading position. So far, he has scored 6 goals and provided 6 assists in the league.
In the interview, Adams directly named the PFA player of the season to Saka:
“Saka is a wonder boy, he not only scores goals but also creates goals, he should already be the PFA Player of the Year this season.”
“I’ve been waiting for him and Martinelli for the last three years to show signs of fatigue, but they’ve kept improving. That’s one of the things Arteta has done very well, because without these two kids in the team
Having dragged the Gunners through the last two seasons, he might not be in the managerial position now.”
Adams also expressed his concerns about Arsenal’s title race in the interview:
“What worries me now is that when the pressure reaches a certain level (can they withstand it), Manchester City have too many players in the squad to choose from.”
“Arsenal don’t have a lot of people available on the bench. In the current form, I don’t think they can win the league with Nketiah as a striker. They need reinforcements and need Jesus to recover from injury as soon as possible.
He will be the decider when he recovers to help them fight for the title.”
