It is understood that the face value of Messi’s commemorative banknote is 1000 pesos, which is because the number begins with “10” and is also Messi’s iconic jersey number in Argentina.
The back of the commemorative banknote will display the other Argentine players in the World Cup winning lineup. The commemorative banknote on this side is called “La Scaloneta”, named after coach Scaroni.
