Ferdinand: Manchester United performed well without the ball, thanks to the coach

January 17 News Last Saturday’s Manchester Derby, Manchester United defeated Manchester City 2-1
Ferdinand praised United’s defensive performance.

“When Manchester United were one goal behind, I would go out of the studio to go to the bathroom and I would come back and it would be 0-2 or 0-3. I think City kept 70 per cent of the ball in 90 minutes.
, but I think it’s one of the most consistent performances I’ve seen from Manchester United without the ball.”

“The fact that Manchester City only had one shot on target shows that Manchester United have improved a lot without the ball. It’s a testament to the work of the coach and you have to train well to do that, which is what I’ve seen.
What I saw at Manchester United was a huge difference.”
