Former goalkeeper coach: I insist on letting Chelsea sign Melier, but changing the coach will affect the signings

January 20 News Former Chelsea goalkeeper coach Christo Lorisson participated
On Monte Carlo Radio’s After Foot program, where he gave some insider tips.

“I discovered the kid Melier with Regis Le Bres when he was a back-up goalkeeper for Lorient,” he continued, “I had been watching him for two years and I wanted to bring him to Chelsea.

The first time I saw Melier play football was in a reserve team game, and it felt like standing in front of me was not a goalkeeper, but a central defender.
I just took a step closer to watch him play, obviously he likes this game mode.

Melier met my height standard for a goalkeeper at the time, because he was 1.96 meters tall, plus he had amazing left foot skills, wingspan, and was very good at one-on-one and aerial confrontation, but Chelsea’s change of head coach directly affected
my thoughts.

Laurisson finally stated that he firmly believes that the future of Melier is the French one.
In the show, he also expressed his love for Maignan and Bruns-Samba.
