In recognition of Park Hang-seo’s contribution to coaching Vietnam, Vietnam Airlines presented him with free business tickets for life

January 18th, after leading the Vietnam team to the runner-up in the Southeast Asian Football Championship, the Vietnam national team coach Park Hang-seo
Officially resigned as the coach of the Vietnam team. During his more than 5 years of coaching Vietnam, he led the team to win many honors and received a lot of praise in Vietnam.

According to Korean media “Naver” citing Vietnamese domestic media sources, in recognition of Park Hang-seo’s contribution during the coaching of the Vietnam team, Vietnam Airlines presented Park Hang-soo and his wife with a lifetime free round-trip business ticket between Vietnam and South Korea.
In an interview, he said: “Although coach Park Hang-seo will step down as the head coach of the Vietnam national team, we will never forget the achievements he has brought to the Vietnam team and Vietnamese fans in the past few years. Our love and respect for him will last forever.”

Since coaching the Vietnam team in October 2017, Park Hang-seo led the team to win the 10-year Southeast Asian Football Championship in 2018, and reached the quarter-finals of the Asian Cup, the top 12 of the World Preliminaries in Asia, the runner-up of the U23 Asian Cup,
Jakarta-Palembang Asian Games semi-finals and more.
