Italian media: after Milinkovich’s agent asked to renew the contract, the termination fee was reduced to 40 million to 50 million euros.

According to a report in the Messenger newspaper, Milinkovich’s agent hopes that after the contract extension, the terms of the player’s termination payment can be reduced to 40 million to 50 million euros.
Lazio’s next task is to renew his contract with Milinkovich. According to the Messenger, the core Lazio midfielder’s contract expires in June 2024, so Tare and Claudio Lotito are eager to renew his contract until 2027 as soon as possible.
Lazio have offered an annual salary of 5 million euros including a bonus, but Milinkovic’s agent Kezman sees the termination clause as a necessary condition for a contract renewal. He asked Lazio to reduce Milinkovic’s termination clause to 40 million euros to 50 million euros after the contract extension.
Such a request will help Juve and Arsenal pursue Milinkovic. If no contract renewal agreement is reached, Lazio may sell Milinkovic next summer to prevent the players from leaving the team for free.
