Marca: Pele made four guest appearances as a goalkeeper and helped Santos win the Brazilian Cup.

December 30-Marca said that there was a time when Brazilian football was everyone’s reference, in part because of Pele. He made his debut at the age of 16, scoring more than 1000 goals and was the only player to win the World Cup three times.
The Pele, who is remembered at Santos Club, also wore goalkeeper gloves four times in 1959, 1963, 1969 and 1973. In the first leg of Santos 3-1 Gremio in the southwest semi-final of the 1963 Brazilian Cup, Pele scored a hat-trick and played as a goalkeeper for three minutes after Santos’s legendary goalkeeper Girma was expelled.
Pele stopped two shots that could have scored. In the absence of a player, the team ran to the last minute, trying to avoid being eliminated, and the Brazilian finally put Santos into the final. They finally won the championship with 6-0 and 2-0 in two games against E.C. Bahia.
