official: Southgate continues as England coach and will lead the team to Euro 2024

The FA officially announced that Southgate will continue to serve as England coach and will lead the team to Euro 2024.
The FA CEO issued a statement: “We are pleased to confirm that Gareth Southgate will continue as England coach and will lead the team to Euro 2024.”
“Southgate and assistant coach Holland have always had our full support and the three Lions are planning to prepare for the European Cup from now on.”
The 52-year-old Southgate began his coaching career at Middlesbrough and then became head coach of England U21 and England U23. In September 2016, he became head coach of the England team and led the team to reach the semi-finals of the 2018 World Cup and the runner-up of Euro 2020.
