Official: Wolves rent and buy to introduce Atletico Madrid striker Cunha with a total transfer fee of 50 million euros

According to official news on December 26th, Wolves rent and buy to introduce Atletico Madrid striker Cunha. After triggering the mandatory buyout clause, the two sides will sign the contract until 2027. Cunha will wear the team’s No. 12 shirt when he is signed for the first time since Lopeteji joined Wolves.

Cunha is on loan from Atletico Madrid and Wolves will automatically buy out Cunha and sign with him until 2027 after triggering certain terms. Cunha, Lopetji’s first signing since joining Wolves, flew to England earlier this week to complete a medical and will complete his registration when the transfer window opens on January 1.
Cunha, 23, who was born in Brazil, joined Swiss team Sion in 2017 and began his career in Siyon. RB Leipzig brought him to the Bundesliga in the summer of 2018 after the 18-year-old scored 10 goals and 8 assists in 32 games in a single season. In April 1919, Cunha scored a stunning Marseille slalom against Bayer Leverkusen, which was selected as a candidate for the 2019 Puskash Award.
