December 17-Anthony Taylor was banned from refereeing the World Cup final for fear of international bias, according to the Daily Mail.
Argentina will face France in the final at the Russell Stadium on Sunday, with Polish Marziniak as the referee.
Earlier, the Times reported that British referees had been banned from enforcing Argentina’s games because of fears of restlessness near the Falkland Islands, as the British call it.
FIFA regards the neutrality of the referees as a “top priority”, while Argentine referees will be banned from enforcing England’s matches.
