Romano: city Football Group’s 15-year-old renewed his contract with New York City, refusing invitations from several Bundesliga teams.

On December 23, Romano reported that New York City youngster Christian McFarlane rejected the invitation of a number of German clubs and chose to renew his contract to stay in the team.
McFarlane, 15, was born in England but plays for FC in New York City in the United States. he is a left-back player and has made seven appearances for the New York City Academy in the “MLS Next Pro” so far this season.
Romano revealed that McFarlane has now signed a new long-term contract with New York City, turning down invitations from a number of German clubs and choosing to stay in the city football group system, which also includes Manchester City.
It is understood that Borussia Dortmund and Bayern and other clubs are concerned about the future of McFarlane.
