“In response to the news that appeared today against former referee committee president José María Enríquez Negreira, the referee committee would like to make it clear: Enríquez has not been a member of our organization since 2018.”

“The referee committee regrets this possible violation of the ethics code of the industry organization, and all current referee committee members and active referees should not participate in and engage in behaviors that may have a conflict of interest.”
