TA: Manchester United have triggered contract renewal terms for Rushford, Darlotte, Luke Shaw and Fred

According to The Athletic, Manchester United have triggered the terms of contract renewal for four players: Rushford, Darlotte, Luke Shaw and Fred.
The contracts of Rushford, Darlotte, Luke Shaw, Fred and Manchester United expire next summer and the four players can negotiate with overseas clubs in early January if the terms of contract renewal are not triggered before the new year. The Athletic said Manchester United had triggered an one-year renewal clause in the four players’ contracts.
As for de Gea, whose contract also expires at the end of the season, Manchester United are in talks with him to renew his contract and hope that the 32-year-old goalkeeper will sign a new contract at a lower price, rather than activating the renewal clause at a weekly salary of 375000 pounds. Earlier, de Gea said he was willing to cut his salary and renew his contract with Manchester United.
