02, February 27, Manchester United coach Eric Ten Hag published his own letter this morning
.

To all Manchester United fans:

I wanted to take a moment this morning to have a direct exchange with you.

When I took over at Manchester United we talked about the challenge and the importance of getting the club back on its feet and reconnecting the players with our great fans.

Believe me, Manchester United know how important you are to this team.
The bond between the team and the fans will always be there and everyone can see how we pulled together yesterday against all odds and it only deepens our bond and connection.

The atmosphere at Wembley Stadium is incredible.
From the first minute to the last, the fans were with us, pushing the team forward, supporting and encouraging them to cross the finish line and bring the trophy back to Manchester.

For those who couldn’t be there, we also felt your support before, during and after the game.
Each of you will always contribute your part to the team’s success.

I am so proud of the preparation and performance of my players and staff.
Yesterday, we saw the desire, spirit and determination that this Manchester United team really needs, which is what we ask of every Manchester United man.

We stress to ourselves the high standards that are required every day and yesterday at Wembley we met those demands and won our first trophy together.

We know the importance of titles in the history of this great club.
We are delighted to bring the trophy back to Old Trafford but we are never satisfied and we will not stop there.

Together we experienced what it was like to win for Manchester United together.
It’s a truly great cause, and it only makes each of us more eager to achieve greater success.

My players have improved a lot in the past few months, but there is still a lot to improve.
I can assure you everyone at Carrington will keep working hard because we know this club and you, our supporters, deserve more of this brilliance.

Today we will officially return to training, fully preparing for Wednesday night’s FA Cup clash with West Ham United.

We will not be complacent and we hope that Manchester United can return to where we think Manchester United should be.

Please know that you are essential to what we want to achieve and please take yesterday’s glory as proof that we can only get there together.

Thank you for your support and dedication.
