Chelsea official: Broya suffered a broken anterior cruciate ligament in his knee and was reimbursed this season

December 14-Chelsea officially announced that Broya was reimbursed for the season due to injury.
The announcement said: “Broya injured his knee in the first half of Sunday’s friendly against Aston Villa and then returned to England for further evaluation.”
Unfortunately, the scan revealed a ruptured anterior cruciate ligament of the knee and required surgery.
After the operation, Broya will work closely with the team’s medical department during his recovery and is expected to miss the rest of the 2022-23 season. ”
Albanian player Broya, a 21-year-old centre-forward from Chelsea’s own youth training, has just been promoted to the first team this season, making 18 appearances and contributing one goal and one assist.
