Fox Sports: Cardiff City will file a lawsuit over FIFA’s decision on Sarah’s transfer

December 19-according to Fox Sports, Cardiff City will file a lawsuit against FIFA’s ruling on Sarah’s transfer.
Former Nantes Argentine Sarah died in a plane crash in 2019. Before his death, Cardiff City had reached an agreement with Nantes on his transfer. Later, Nantes insisted that Cardiff City pay the transfer fee in accordance with the contract. FIFA ruled in favor of Nantes, asking Cardiff City to pay Nantes $6.5 million and banned Cardiff City from bringing in aid until the matter was resolved.
Cardiff City is dissatisfied with FIFA’s ruling that Sarah has never officially become a player on their side, so they don’t owe Nantes anything. Cardiff City will file a lawsuit in the Swiss court, where FIFA is based.
