Team newspaper: Deschamps has earned 3 million euros this year and will discuss a contract renewal in January

According to a report in the team newspaper, Deschamps can earn about 3 million euros a year.
Didier Deschamps has been offered a new contract after leading France to the 2018 World Cup, which expires at the end of this month. Didier Deschamps, who currently earns 2.5 million euros a year, is expected to meet with the president of the French Football Association in January to discuss a new contract, which could last until the 2026 World Cup, according to the team newspaper.
Deschamps earns 22000 euros for portrait rights per game, which is about 220000 euros a year, considering that France plays at least 10 games a year.
In this World Cup, 8.47 million euros of the prize money received by the French team will be distributed to the coaching staff and players, while Deschamps will receive about 290000 euros.
To sum up, Deschamps will be able to earn about 3 million euros this year, but this figure is obviously lower than his income as a coach at the club.
