Ten Hag, we need to play smarter. Luke Shaw’s efforts are paying off

January 4th, in the 19th round of the Premier League game that ended early this morning, ,
Manchester United beat Bournemouth 3-0 at home.
After the game, Manchester United coach Ten Hag accepted an interview with the media and talked about the status of Luke Shaw and Rashford.

we need to play smarter

Well, it’s 3-0 and I’m very happy about that, it’s obvious.
But today was not our best game.
As a group we should have been smarter, we scored some fantastic goals, but sometimes we got lucky.
De Gea made great saves but as a whole we could have played smarter.
In the end we became two parts, the offensive end and the defensive end were separated.

about goals

I’m happy with the team’s set-piece coordination, we spent a lot of time on it.
Casemiro’s goal was brilliant and Luke Shaw’s counter-attack was brilliant.
(Second goal) Ganacho’s pass was good, but it was Luke Shaw who dribbled the ball forward and started the attack.
He’s fast, he’s dynamic, all the attacking players made the right moves, it was a great goal and we’re happy with that.
The last goal was also very good, Luke Shaw’s pass was brilliant and Bruno’s running was excellent.

About Martial

I think he will be fine, he wants to keep playing, so I hope he recovers quickly and is ready for the FA Cup game against Everton.

About Luke Shaw’s Status

He’s in form and he’s put in a lot of work, both mentally and physically.
He’s a great player and he’s in great form.
I hope he keeps it up because his good play is paying off.
He told me after the game that he was a bit unwell, but he wanted to continue contributing to the team.

about team momentum

We need to play game by game, the next game is a cup game, but after that there are league games.
We want to win every game, but it’s a process.
The point is to win the next game and not look too far ahead.
We need to focus on that, so when the weekend starts, we need to go out on the field fresh and ready.

About Rashford

I think Rashford has done a great job again.
I said the same thing about him and Martial before the season, I believe they can score goals because their quality means they can always create chances, the quality of the team means their teammates can create chances for them, so they have to do
Good end.
They need to be focused from the first minute to the last, and when the opportunity comes, it’s up to them to take it.
